Supporting You

Our Services

We deeply value and believe in providing high-level care and education to efficiently and effectively get you better, faster. We do not believe passive modalities are effective in treating your musculoskeletal conditions and value hands-on, one-on-one care providing you with individualized feedback through exercise, manual therapy, and education. Most patients and clients will be scheduled 1-time per week (unless conditions and goals call for more), using time in-between visits to integrate the sessions at home through an exercise program.

We strive to be transparent with our ability to serve. We love what we do, recognize our abilities and confidence in treating musculoskeletal pain and discomfort, and value collaborating with our colleagues who specialize in other areas of care. We love tapping into our resources to pull together a team for your success.

Physical Therapy • 60-75 min

Physical Therapy sessions are for those who have a pain or more acute injury that is causing you to change the way you perform your activities of daily living. We value our sessions being entirely one-on-one in order to provide you with a plan that is focused and individualized around your goals and hobbies. This means you will be with your Doctor of Physical Therapy the entire time, no overlapping, and complete attention to your case. We take into consideration all aspects of your life that could be contributing to your pain and dysfunction to address it’s root cause. This allows us to implement specific, effective, and personalized care. Intervention techniques are individualized to each client and include a combination of approaches that may include: manual therapy, trigger-point dry needling, therapeutic exercise, and balance training.

Our approach weaves concepts of traditional physical therapy, evidenced-based research, embodied movement concepts, and yoga; it is specialized to mirror the client’s specific needs, conditions, level of fitness, and understanding. We are passionate about our role as facilitators, about providing context to your pain so it is better understood, and therefore appropriately working with and resolving the issue so you’re able to get back to doing the things you love without pain or fear.

Dry Needling Only • 30 min

These sessions are for established physical therapy patients who have already been evaluated. This is a 30-minute session for dry needling only, no other treatment is provided.

Wellness Assessment • 60-75 min.

Wellness Assessments and sessions are for those who have pain or discomfort while going about their day or participating in their active lifestyle but are able to “just deal with it” or “get by.” Too many people wait to address their “minor” aches and pains until it’s too late and they’ve become a bigger problem. By assessing limitations in your strength, mobility, and movement coordination early on we are able to identify risk factors and implement a program that prevents worsening or development of an injury.

Wellness Visits are also one-on-one with your Doctor of Physical Therapy the entire time, and individualized for your specific concern. Pain and discomfort often lead to altered or compensated movement patterns that can lead to injury. These movement consultations are meant to give you a better understanding of your body to empower you to make more informed decisions when it comes to your health and wellness.

Private Yoga • 60 min.

The private session space allows you to ask questions and get real-time feedback in your practice. If you are new to the practice, scheduling a private session holds space for you to learn the postures and embody the correct mechanics and alignment to be more confident and feel a deeper connection at home and in the studio. Have an established practice but are looking to deepen your practice? In a private session we can address your goals around strength, flexibility, pain, and modification so you are able to use knowledge of your own body to inform postures, movement, and mindfulness.

Telehealth • 30-60 min

Telehealth allows care to be accessible to clients who are unable to (or uncomfortable with) coming into the office. While physical intervention is part of an integrated and wholistic plan of care, it is only one part. We are able to effectively evaluate, assess, modify, and implement a variety of treatments and education to aid in a faster recovery of pain while maintaining precautions for vulnerable populations, when traveling, or if living far away.

transparency

We take great pride in what we do and in our service to you. We believe in offering the most effective and efficient care that is not regulated by restrictions created by insurance. Taking information gathered from our thorough assessment, we come up with a plan of care for you, with you. If you have a stubborn and nagging condition that is making progress but takes time, we are here to see it through with you. If, after taking into consideration all the elements of your condition, together we conclude that you just needed one visit to get back on track, we will not schedule you for any unnecessary care. We value transparency in our services and our goal to support you and your musculoskeletal conditions.

education

Enliven movement is passionate about providing the highest quality of care for our patients and clients. As physical therapists, we recognize that we have had the privilege to study at depth the body, its anatomy, mechanics, and its amazing ability to heal and restore. Our duty with this knowledge is to provide you with an intimate understanding of your condition and how it came about so you are able to navigate the process with confidence and move forward towards recovery with purpose. This profession offers us the ability to constantly learn more. By continuing to educate ourselves in the newest research and theory we are able to best provide you with the highest level of care.
