Kerri received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2016 from the University of St. Augustine in Florida. After a year of being in the clinic, her curiosity and interest in human movement lead her to MUSC’s Orthopedic Residency Program where she received advanced training in her area of expertise and achieved advanced certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). In 2019, she followed her interest of different movement practices and completed the 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at Mission Yoga in Charleston, SC. Kerri also has additional training in manual therapy, trigger point dry needling, vestibular rehabilitation, and Selective Functional Movement Assessment.

Kerri highly values the time and freedom required to listen, examine, and integrate the unique aspects of an individuals life and experience to develop a plan of care for healing, recovery, and prevention. She started Enliven Movement to be able to practice with autonomy, full transparency, and without the restrictions created by insurance companies.

Kerri is passionate about sharing her wholistic perspective and knowledge of the human body and movement to inspire confidence and ability in others. She believes in a collaborative and eclectic approach to her healing practice, pulling from concepts of traditional physical therapy, evidence-based practice, yoga, mindfulness, inquiry, breath, and meditation. Her goal is to empower greater self-awareness and self-reliance within individuals to maximize performance and the daily living experience.

A New York native and College of Charleston alum, Kerri finds her greatest joy in moving her body and being in nature. Whether it’s hiking the Appalachian’s or picking up new salt water hobbies, she is at her most natural state when playing outdoors. She loves beach volleyball, yoga, surfing, skating, and being able to share time with her friends, family, and community.
